Who we are

A new light is needed to illuminate the world.
It is both a hope and a mission that guides my creative journey.
Light, for me, is a language that meets matter  wood.
That natural element defines me and has always been at the heart of my aesthetic research.

My name is Alessandra Aita, and I was born in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a land of wonders and contrasts  a crossroads of cultures, lights, and shadows that have shaped its history.
It is here that I live and started my work as a graphic designer.
And it is here that my need to create and shape matter found expression in works of art made from reclaimed wood, iron, and resin.

My sculptures are figures suspended between dream and introspection bare, often incomplete hey reflect the complexity of the human soul, which fascinates and inspires me.

Over time, I have embarked on a deeply intimate journey of exploration between art, humanity, and nature  one that led me to contemplate the empty space I felt within myself and could not define, as a place of beauty and rebirth.
A space that simply asked to be illuminated in order to take form.

It is from this inner and creative quest that Origma was born  a place where art and design meet.

Philosophy

The brand’s philosophy is inspired by the art of origami.
Just as paper folds transform into surprising shapes, creative thought takes form through clean lines that combine technical precision and aesthetic sensitivity.
